Funny, I was just going to start a thread (as is my wont) about cats.
This cat we've adopted - or it adopted us would be more accurate - is a great talker. Lost count of the cats weve had going back to the 60s but don't remember one that talked so much.
She comes in, she says hello, even if she has to come and find you to do it.
This morning I'm sitting in a chair opposite a sofa and she comes home in, says hello, and jumps up on the sofa to have her daily sleep. But the window was open behind her and there was a slightly chilly breeze, so she turns to me and starts talking and I'm damned if she wasn't saying "do something about this window". But she didn't wait, she shifted up the other end of the sofa.
