The name Sons of Gwalia originally referred to the workings at Leonora, but the SOG's Co in the 90's was Aust 3rd largets gold producer mining Gwalia, Carasue Dam, Tarmoola, Marvel Loch and other smaller satellite pits.

The company almost collapsed in 2003 and Ed came in tasked with turning it all around- it couldnt be done and SOG's folded with close to a billion bucks in debt, the assets were later sold to St Barbs for around $40m.
So it was alot more than just Leonora and Ed's association with those assets began before he was running SBM.
