If anyone can turn the F35 junk into something respectable it will be Israel. Their avionics are more superior to the US I believe.

However the clear structural flaws will mean its like having an expensive luxury car that doesn't do or can be used much that you are driving around doing manual jobs in. It looks good but can't do the workhorse quality that a cheap reliable Japanese ute can do which is why Russian fighters can work in tough operating conditions that require a lot of work done. It says a lot when they can fly multiple missions on the same day with significantly lower maintenance time and on less than perfect runways all on the cheap.
