It is an interesting read, if memory serves correctly, I believe that one of those pirates (LIC's) mentioned disposed of shares in a company I have invested in and in fact when I asked my broker why they were loading large volumes onto the sell side he was also confused as it just pushes the price lower. He knew it must be them as he said he had been offered a large line of stock by them. The broker I assume waited until the price was pretty cheap and parcelled it off amongst his clients we picked up a few in the process.
I had an interesting chat with a manager and he was pointing out how hard it is for him to create a culture where managers actually understand that its real money not "other peoples money"... Taking ownership of results is often very hard.
