Hi rubygirl, no offence but i follow ASICs book not yours. Maybe you should read the announcement fully, it very clearly states:

"Nature of change - On-market purchase by Westgold Resources Limited of which Mr PG Cook is a Director"

In number of shares held prior and after change it clearly states that his INDIRECT ownership changed from 57,661,858 shares to 58,461,858 which coincidently is 800,000 shares.

Under the section "Nature of indirect interest (including registered holder)"

It states "Metals X Limited and Westgold Resources Limited of which Mr PG Cook is a Director"

Please let me know which part of the announcement is still unclear. Maybe do some more research before possibly making a "mis-understanding" that gives an unclear view of the companies position in the boarder market .
