Absolutely have no trust in many of their own products. Not to mention the melamine scandal, resulting in numerous infant fatalities.

New Zealand have an extremely excellent international reputation for being disciplined and diligent with manufacturing processes. They are bloody smart. Cryo, canning, bottling. They do a great job in general. The environment of New Zealand, clean and sparse population, lends it self to maintaining a contamination free manufacturing situation.
I have seen pictures of dust and pollution leaking into manufacturing facilities in certain parts of China. It is simply too hard to maintain for. Not saying that is every situation, but I am aware of it.
also I am not kiwi, but I invested in ktd, because of their culture to manufacturing food goods
