"Wave energy has a market potential of over $18 billion to Ireland’s economy by 2050. Similarly, the US has a substantial wave energy resource, which could deliver up to 15 percent of its annual electricity demand.
In Oregon, the estimated potential value to the local economy is $2.4 billion per annum with an associated 13,630 jobs."

"The 826‐ton OE Buoy measures 125 x 59 feet with a draft of 31 feet and has a potential rated capacity of up to 1.25 MW in electrical power production."
So our CETO unit will be smaller, lighter (and perhaps because of this easier to deploy). AND more powerfully by 0.25 MW - although I am still unsure: What value can be placed on the "nominal" capacity (being 1.5 MW)? (NB: I wonder - is the 1.25 MW for the OE bouy its nominal capacity?)
Anyway, if we can get our in the water and producing to something near 1.5 MW, there is a good market for it I think.
The one aspect the OE Bouy has over us is that it is going to be in the water this year compared to the summer window of 19/20 (assuming things stay on schedule).
