You could compare/contrast KRM with MML ; both are ASX listed narrow vein gold miners and have a common link with Mr Phillips.
Mr Phillips bought what is now MML from Kerry Packer in the 1990s and got it up and going.
He sold out and started KRM along similar lines albeit much smaller.
News articles have referred to KRM as a mini MML.
So to answer your question, one has to compare apples with apples and MML is the only
exclusive narrow vein UG gold miner other than KRM listed on the ASX that I know of but their COP
seems to be higher.
The chief benefit in investing in a very low cost miner such as KRM is that if the POG drops below $1000/oz it will still be profitable while biggies such as Newcrest will not.The downside is that it is not
economically viable to JORC drill out narrow veins when they can be mined out at a similar cost.
The claylike nature of KRM veins also means that diamond drill grade sampling is not accurate because of washout.
