Hi Underdone Moorookamick and all,

I telephoned a (mate) supplier to Grasberg today and it looks like things are moving real quickly I mentioned in a previous post that the government had been applying pressure on the big miners in different ways.

It appears that the big miners intend to comply with the various types of value adding of basic resources including smelting and refining within Indonesia. Of course they are going to comply because until they do they face some hefty taxation. I understood KRM already complied but I fear they all got tarred with the same brush.

Containers sitting on the wharfs in Timika for weeks are now on the move and I guess likewise in other parts of the country. Talk about ironic timing D day 6th of June 1944 70th anniversary and all that!

I think the big hurdle has been the mining ministerial approval and now we have that tick that the forestry final permit should be a formality. Let’s hope so.

Of course with everything going on in the world from Syria to Crimea and super Mario and the boys in Portugal and their negative rates this is hardly big news other than to the likes of us with particular interest therefore I would not worry about the share price not jumping.
