More scandal as usual from Windimurra

The truth needs to be told about its supposed low production costs and how it proposes to make money at typical vanadium price. Look at the long term historical vanadium price it seldom goes above $4/lb v2o5 or $15/kg FeV.

At that price, much higher grade and better operations have modest margins. Yet we have been force fed this idea about the low operating cost of Windimurra, world's largest etc.... There are few or no projections of operating cost published by the company and perhaps more information now needs to be revealed.

The state government originally and misguidedly invested huge dollars to get the project started. (very important to look after their peppie grove chums.)

We have seen how lobbyists and former management doctored reports over its closure, and this perhaps contributed to the villificatioin of Xstrata for abandoning the project. The former minister for resources was chucked out of parliament for this (yet he somehow still occupies a seat surprise surprise).

It's a scandalous project and whoever inherits it can be assured of much publicity.

Chop it up sell it off there is some nice plant and equipment that could be used at more worthwhile and less controversial projects.
