I agree, often the best value stocks are found at the bottom of the barrel (your metaphorical P/E). The cash hoard and backlog of orders underwrite any concerns over earnings and risk.
Austal only popped into my screeners late last year, I'd heard of it but didn't know much about it. Liked what I saw, bough at 2.49, then 2.24 and then 1.945. This little Auzzie exporter has certainly helped put some sanity back into my portfolio.
