Yes I know that is what was said in the Discovery Report 18th July. But that means that they went through the whole Jurassic and into the Triassic Mungaroo in the space of 107m, down to 3721. That is a lot of 'lithology' in 107m. And also we have the over pressure zone that necessitated the well being 'shut in' at 3803 and subsequently the side track. Report 11. It doesn't seem to quite all add up.

What kastin suggested and I agree with him is that they were perhaps mistaken in the Discovery Report in saying they were in the Triassic Mungaroo at 3721m, that is, that the discovery was in the Jurassic and the Triassic. What we are suggesting, is that perhaps the discovery is all in the Angel formation in the Jurassic and that perhaps they have all of the Triassic to drill probably from about 3803. See kastins post 9538610. Perhaps wishful thinking but this is a much more exciting possibility with the potential of much more and larger 'discoveries' in the Triassic Mungaroo below their current discovery of 40m. This scenario also would explain away the 'water' (which we are keen to do so)as the Bridadier Formation at the very top of the Triassic and before the Mungaroo and is known to be wet. Wilcox had 141m of net play in the Mungaroo! If something like that was repeated here on top of the 40m they already have we are talking about serious stuff!
All will be revealed in the next few days.
As I have said before disappointment is usually the order of the day, but we live in hope and dare to dream.
    GLTA.
