I did speak to a Director at the Company some weeks back and asked about Reporting with respect to Palta.
My understanding of what he told me was, that Shell are only required to meet there legal obligations with respect to reporting to, I think it was, the Dept of Mines.
I guess because even a huge discovery would not be 'material' with respect to Shell they wouldn't need to report it to the ASX.
They have no obligation to tell OXX what is going on and certainly not WHN or STX.
At least that was my take on it.

If someone here reading, has knowledge of a companies responsibilities with respect to reporting to the Dept of mines we would appreciate you sharing your knowledge.

Wishful thinking I know but I still believe that they have lots of reasons to keep any good news under raps for as long as they can. Certainly more so than if they had bad news to report.
I have to believe that there will be an authoritative leak somewhere.
