Lead  does  not  pay  well  and  silver  is  held  around  production  cost.
According to the World Silver Survey, 34% of silver production came as a by-product
of zinc and lead, while 22% came as a by-product of copper production.  Thus, 56%
of global silver production is a result of copper, zinc and lead production:
Who  is  going  to  rush  in  to  mine  Sorby  now  when  it  makes  virtually  no  profit  to  mine.

In  a  years  time,  if  this  financial  reset  ever  happens,  it  might  be  a  different  story...
