A couple of exciting days for EX1 investors! Something that has not been spoken about so much here is what Exopharm are doing. Exomeres are a very exciting new field of cutting edge technology in medicine & the ability to extract them from stem cells.
One of the first off the rank in development is Plexaris...a dressing that has been in development for some time & I hope to see this used in wound healing in clinical practice soon in the mainstream, and it will be if clinical trials are successful & something that can be used in community nursing as well.
As chronic ulcers are a huge problem for many patients & causes so many hospital admissions for cellulitis needing IV Abs & loss of limbs in some cases for diabetes ...so unnecessary if we can treat this unmet clinical need & lessen pain & suffering for many patients.
LEAP will bring forth much interest in so many clinical areas, not just wounds.
