A lot of trainers must be rubbing their hands together at the thought of Darren’s horses getting redistributed... Thought it was a bit odd a few months back when Darren Murphy the older guy fronting up to the media as stable rep at meetings Weir couldn’t get to ,gave up the job to go to SA to help with the training of strappers and apprentices there. Weir was a bit short in his acknowledgement of Darren’s efforts imo ...almost seemed a bit miffed...could be unconnected but at the time it caught my eye and I put it down to Weir reputation of being very demanding on his workers....as in terms of hours per week and Murphy had had enough..
