Thanks for questioning me on grade. I felt the need to mention it so that people don't get their hopes up expecting 5-10 g/t. That may very well be possible, but I see a large low grade deposit being a more realistic expectation.
As you can see, 1-2 g/t with a strip ratio of 8-12:1 seems to be reasonable. Orogenic type deposit. I don't like those numbers either, but the Macraes site has a current AISC of ~$1000. Plenty of nearby exploration, and likelihood of decreasing AISC even more.
Fundamentally, NAE really appeals to me. Management and RCF. Plenty of resources under their belt, and definitely undervalued. Three projects on the go with limited $. They either JV/sell and focus on a single project, or get bought out. Great value at the current SP nonetheless. That's my take on it anyhow
