Yeah different lifestyle in nz than say Sydney or Melbourne if comparing to wellington and Auckland . Maybe a bit sleepy at times , people tend to drive imports where here it would seem everyone has a late model car .
Beer is cheaper in nz ,but vegetables seem to be more expensive. Houses in Auckland are on par with Sydney almost , but not sure if wages are these days.
As for being stoic , I think you are right , Aussie tend to moan a lot more I have noticed .
