Hello, I believe earnings may be well down on last year as per management warnings.
The Soy food division continues to be a loss making operation, and quite a drag on earnings, and I cannot see this improving in the short term especially in light of serious worldwide competition and local costs of feedstock.
The 1c dividend paid was only a one off payment due to tax credits.
Your reference to managements lack of communication is also valid, there has never been any urgency or regular announcements made by these people, it is essentially a private offshoot of Soul Pattison, I think management therefore feel no need to inform the market other than their regulatory requirements, and is hence very illiquid.
Since the highs of some 27c, the sp has fallen some 35%, but I do watch it daily, what strikes me is the continual propping of the shareprice with smallish irregular numbered bids, this has been going on for months now and is very noticable, you may notice when the shareprice is under any pressure, the bid side immediately fills with these smallish props
