Can we just be a little careful in what we are trying to state here? The risks detailed in the Chairmans address last calendar year are exactly that. As with any project/company they need to communicate the issues, risks to overcoming them and the goals and next steps. These are what they are.

Equally CLV have stated that the view for FY09 is a "modest increase in sales for FY09". In view of this, what is the relevance of the slowing sales statement in the "last two months"?

I am not saying that I know - indefinitely - what the profit figure will be. But even accounting for the risks that have been mentioned I personally dont see them as having a marked effect on what I am forecasting.
