out of the goodness of his heart, watso provides the following information.
shareholders in gda, should keep an eye on sxg.. sxg have some similar stuff as gda - in the same area. sxg have just released a report, showing their development priorities.
perhaps gda should be chatting with sxg (they probably have) - about some joint venture, regarding the treatment of the parker range deposits. trucking the ore somewhere, would cost about 20c per tonne/kilometer (15c would be the absolute minimum)
toll treatment at the sbm mill is out of the question - or if sbm offered the service, it would be at a price. run of the mill treatment costs are about $15 per tonne - if sbm offered the service, then it would want to make a profit - so make that $30 per tonne. mining costs are about $4 per tonne (including waste) . if there is a strip ratio of about 7 to 1, then that means a tonne of ore, will cost about $30
start adding the numbers together - and everything becomes marginal
the other day, watso looked at a company called beacon (bcn) - and north of southern cross.. the grade is so high, that they could truck the ore somewhere to be treated. watso has heard that there is $40m profit to be made.
if bcn are struggling to get their project off the ground - then there is not much hope for gda - but it is possible that some agreement with sxg, could provide some hope
