One man who is running a PO3 FRG in his family swimming pool is Executive Director Steve Annear.

According to PO3 director Simon Lill, Steve Annear was able to convert his Detroit pool from being "green and dirty" to being "absolutely crystal clear" in about two days.

Lill displayed a two year-hold FRG water purifying prototype after the AGM on November 30.

The unit is about the size of a briefcase.

It's designed to intake air and pass that over electrodes with a pulsating current in order to produce ozone.

The ozone is then mixed with water using a separate mixing technology. The ozone destroys contaminants such as cryptosporidium - a gastro bug that chlorine may manage but can't destroy.

Simon Lill told holders that in Australia, olympic-size swimming pools would still need chlorine. But domestic swimming pools would not need chlorine...just ozone.

He said that PO3/Somnio Global had done much work on improving the efficiency of the water prototype including hoisting the ozone output more than four-fold.

PO3 is likely to start manufacturing a compact version of the water FRG at Somnio's facility in Detroit later this year.

A retail price of $1200 should allow Po3 to score a profit margin of at least 70%.
