I prefer the water from a properly maintained water tank than from any other source. I certainly find town water unpleasant to drink by comparison. No belly aches for me but I would consider a filter for town water.
Other advantages are showering, washing clothes, cooking and watering the garden with rainwater rather than water contaminated with chlorine and fluoride.
Strange how people worry about the things you list above in tiny quantities that are probably of no consequence and may even boost our immune systems but ignore the front end loaders that dump chlorine into reticulated water supplies several tonnes at a time. So much that at times it stinks in a cup of coffee.
