re: watch out tomorrow...to mack67 I have found that Pro Daytraders ( ie .ones who actually can make money constantly ) are a very rare breed indeed. I am yet to meet one outside HC. ( Has anyone got stats ? ie 1 in 1000 )
Those who can't Daytrade call themselves investors as they end up having to hold a stock longer to make a profit. And then there are the buy and holders who have only time and hope on there side to end up with a profit. ( how many time have you heard the expression " you only make a loss if you sell " lol )
My experience as a full time investor (only 3 1/2 years) has shown me that daytrading is difficult to the extreem, Regardless of the tools at your disposal. ( a bit like Pro boxing, knowing the rules just ain't enough to prevent a bloodbath and some have a natural born talent that just can't be taught )
My question is ( you don't have to answer ) *Because the length of the run is unknown " What is the average size of the initial play " ie 5, 10, 15, 20, 30k.
If for instance the stock is .10c
I know the figure would vary depending on wealth and experience but is there an average ?
Thanks in advance.
cheers
