I think possibly Beament may be attracted to the underground success Newmont keep having the deeper they go next door to the CTP - NST have a proven track record of drilling success underground and I would think they are probably thinking with all the open pits littering the Tanami that underground must replicate what Newmont are discovering next door and at a low AISC to boot though I see weather does prove an issue when it does rain heavily though underground that should be a lot less of an issue than in an open air open cut.
