Wrong. Firstly short selling means one doesn't hold. Or else it would be simply selling and he would want the highest possible sell price.

Secondly if he DOESN'T hold and wants to short, where does the "fooling other people" come into play. If he genuinely believes there are weaknesses and he states them, where is the deception. I imagine this is beneficial for all and helps get a more accurate picture instead of a bullish circle jerk mentality.

Lastly do you honestly think the SP of a company the size of WOW is at the mercy of the posts of gttrain? Do you think he has the power to move the SP even one cent? I don't think the institutional traders, hedge funds and portfolio managers have this thread bookmarked just quietly.
