Look its not that tricky it is human nature, the way I see it people use hot copper and post on hot copper for the following reasons. :-

If one holds and you are positive on the stock then you up ramp and look for confirmation bias.

If one holds and you are undecided you post asking questions and seeking opinions/knowledge.

If one holds but are planning to buy you post asking questions and seeking opinions/knowledge.

If one holds but are planning to short then you down ramp the stock because you want to fool other people and make some money at other peoples expense

If one doesn't hold and you are negative on the stock then you obviously have nothing better to do with your life and you are bitter and twisted for some unknown reason and have some personal vendetta that for the sake of other posters would be worth sharing your motivations. Otherwise what is the point of wasting your breath and time.
