PRU does not have the funds to take over either of these companies. If they offered their shares then it would be dilutive for existing PRU shareholders unless they expect to get hold of NMG or ADU at a bargain basement price, which is unlikely to happen.
PRU's best option is to pick on a west African junior with an existing small deposit that is likely to grow quickly.
I have no objection to a PRU takeover at $1.10 if they offered PRU shares. I think ADU itself could be an aquirer of other exploration companies once it gets its cashflow into a strong position, which is probably 12-18 months away.
ADU needs to prove up more oxide gold, maybe via its Liberian tenements and get some value out of its sulphide gold deposit. Both are many months away.
We should be getting some info in the June quarter how the mine is operating, but it will not be until the December quarter report when ADU will be operating at full capacity and accessing the higher grade ore, which will temporarily boost profits.
A buyout of ADU is still a possibility but PRU is unlikely to be the one, at this stage.
