The meeting was in Townsville, so either you were there, live there or not. Most Kagara suppliers are located in or around Townsville.

And know you change your story and can't answer the simply question as to who was there, how many people were there and when Geoff started to present. You could answer that if you were there or on the conference call....

Note the key use of prepositions...

I was at a meeting = I was there on site at the meeting

I was on a conference call = I sat on the call and dialed in...

I have heard enough really...
