Titanic was universally panned by the critics and was being touted as the most expensive flop of all time.
The critics were right and wrong.
The movie was absolute sh!t but it made a sh!tload of money. God knows why.
It was so unbelievable I was actually surprised when the ship sank at the end, thought they would have a happy Hollywood ending as the ship sailed into the sunset (sorry still a lot of bad memories...my girlfriend made me watch it for the first time last month)
