after spending some time looking at the bureau's forcasts for water temperatures around Tasmania it looks like the they will continue to remain above average for at least the duration of this coming spring
its to do with laninas and elninos in both the indian and pacific oceans and the indian ocean diapole (IOD)....... warmer waters seem to be sliding down the west coast of Australia then moving along our south coast and engulfing tassie ...... seems queer, but that's what the forcast maps are telling me.......and warmer waters = slower growth
i am thinking that this could be an explaination for the static share price
although, working on my rule of thumb valuation - average pe over the past few years + 2 for low interest rates gives me a pe of 12.0 as being fair value .......
the current pe is 11.85
so based on the unkown with biomas growth for the full year report ...I have reduced my holding to just 25% of the original....
like the company a lot , just a little bit nervous about the above.
