You sure it is not the way your broker interprets the rules and implements them?
Simple put one account with a 2nd broker.
I'm interested in the exact wording and clause ? Do you know it in the ASX rules ?
Just need to allocate one account to algo trade it up and a 2nd to do the same.
In your example just put a bid in at 5.9 and it takes out 5.6 then choose to either cancel or amend the 5.6 order.
sounds like your with comsec?
