You may know that ASX have step restriction rules.
I learnt recently they also have a no competition rule.
That puts a big hand brake on thinly traded stocks.
If there is only one buyer leading the list of buyers they can't buy whats on offer unless there is someone else to support the step up and ultimate purchase.
With last price at 5.6 and buyers at 5.6 and sellars at 5.9.
The buyer who bought at 5.6 if he or she is the only buyer can't buy at 5.9 until some one else does.
You need two willing buyers and one willing seller for something to happen.
If your a keen fundamentalist who likes to wipe lines when you see the tide turning you need two accounts. They have to be Black and White. My wife's account and my superfund account are too grey to be seen as separate. Bloody Police.
