Asteroider, yes gas is the target for the West Sardinia block. The KEY website has this to say about the block:

The West Sardinia application permit comprises approximately 683 sq. kms and covers the prospective offshore extension to the Campidano Graben. The primary play in the area is envisaged to be gas within Pliocene and Miocene sandstones trapped in titled fault blocks.


I say it every quarter but this time I might actually be right (assuming there's no announcement/presentation beforehand). The quarterly report due by the end of this month should contain some interesting reading!
