Seems AQC is so far off the radar that even getting in bed with Rio Tinto has gone unnoticed. How a 2c stock can attract a major like RIO and still trade by appointment should of itself raised some eyebrows....it did for me . Sure the coal market is ssh*t at the moment but how many coal stocks give you leverage at 2c with Rio doing the heavy lifting in an area they know back to front. I would guess that the geological risk of finding no coal on EPC1824 would be zero. The question is how many hundreds of millions of tonnes are there. It would be great to know the terms of the RIO deal and no doubt RIO has extracted their pound of flesh, but lets say there is 300m tonnes on the J/V tennement, Rio has an option to aquire 75% for ???. That leaves AQC with 25% of say 300m tonnes - could be a lot more/less, but while i'm finishing off my glass of red, i am going to run with 25% of 300m or 75m tonnes in mmetallurgical coal country.
Shandong Energy just took over rockland richfield for over $200m for their 700m tonnes or sAY 30C/Tonne. their project is spitting distance from AQC Mt hillalong J/V.
soooo there is another $20m maybe from this(75*.30). add the $45m from my previous post and i am already at $65m or 12c a share. One more glass of red and i might just get us to 20c!!Rerating coming soon
