Well all said and done I just returned from Peru 25/4/18 was living in Miraflores with my Peruvian lady she owns a company supplies to Repsol for degreasing fluids and also supplies many outlets with cleaning agents for all the high class restaurants in Lima also in Pizza alley area of Miraflores. We drink at the Old Pub in Pizza alley. Unless you have ever travelled Peru the Andes its a dry place but the eye opener is the mineral wealth of the Andes. Which is just a mountain range pushed up millions of years ago exposing its mineral wealth.
It reminds me of the years I worked in Western Papua New Guinea militarily owner by Indonesia at the Freeport Copper site.
High elevation but at the end of the day its just mountains turned up by continents moving and driving the oldest sea floors up where the minerals are there, so to be seen and mined.
I went to my first ever bull fight on Xmas day 2014 whilst at Constancia Project at the project. All the locals were colourfully dressed as they do in the Andes I was the only GRINGO on the day at the bullfight in the local town on the way to the tailings dam which is bigger than Sydney harbour. GOOGLE it. ESPINAR was the closest town some 2 hours further after leaving Cusco in 4/4 some 6 hours to 8 hours later we would make it to the mine site.
