I don't think it would be hard to find $100k amongst shareholders to have the deal king hit.

Holy - is there an inference with your suggestions Barry Smith may not have been as diligent perhaps as he should have been with his stewardship over the corehole drilling with ESG? Do we have any reason to believe Russell who has been inserted with ESGs blessing will be any more capable with respect to these issues? Or is he another "Kristine Kenneally special"?

I can hardly imagine a scenario where ESG wanted Barry out and Russell in if there was not some material benefit to them (and the Phillipines clearly isn't it).

Perhaps Barry had been agitating for a better outcome with the corehole drilling this time around? And the GGX issue is a sideshow to distract attention from ESG bending OIP over the proverbial barrell while nobody is paying attention? Certainly would explain the ESG AGM behaviour.

There is certainly something more to this story than the average punter can find out about. The corehole drilling had better not stop @ 500metres again. Next bi-monthly will be interesting. If it has stopped it would certainly lend support to a few of your musings.
