You can bet your bottom dollar that TTS would be running a ruler over this one. It is part of a 20 year transformation and consolidation of the old government run totes.
We are coming to the final stages of the Australian consolidation (the last major phase would be trying to convince the ACCC that a tie up between TTS and TAB is not in contravention to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).
If TTS were successful in acquiring the WA Tab, it won't be trans-formative for TTS, but you would imagine there will be earnings accretion.
