the gap b/t VRL vs VRLPA
(Post #69140 30/01/03 "I have always held the VRL stock, but have just completed switching this into an equivalent exposure in the VRLPA, as the discount has become too great.
ML has the view that the discount level should be more in the order of 5-10%.. (overall Neutral on VRL) I'm more of the view with 10-20%, but close to 50% is too high.")
.........is now much more reasonable, but only as a result of the deal negiotiated by the Insto's with VRL (thank you Anton Tallifargro et al, and apologies for spelling your name wrong) Also the gap is now just on my range @ 21%
I agree with Sabre that the VRL now offer the real upside IF you want exposure to the movie portfolio. I am reserving my judgement on that point for a little while.. but this annoucment effective gears VRL further to good results from the movie portfolio.
Best day on the mkt for me with this result ever (active since '92)
