I hear you Tui. But that is Senex's game plan. Without it, I agree, its position was much weaker. However, if Beach or Santos want more of this game next, ITC is a logical stepping stone to greater exposure regardless of that stake... Beach / Santos could use ITC as a way to buy into Senex because of it i.e. by Senex (field operator) taking that position it has flagged its next most likely move AND that the field is worth such a move. So depending on the final quantity of black gold in place, ITC may next become a stepping stone for one of the larger neighbors into Senex. Just thinking a step or two ahead and therefore probably wrong...
