Just to point out that QuantiFERON is an incredibly powerful brand and that is what we are selling. In my experience, most people in biomedicine all around the world are familiar with the word Quantiferon and tend to equate it with TB blood testing. For example, doctors say the name �Quantiferon� when asking for the test, they do not ask for a �whole blood IGRA TB test� and labs offer the test as Quantiferon, or Quantiferon TB. This is unusual because diagnostic tests do not usually go by their brand name. In addition, there are around 500 peer-reviewed research papers in the literature associated with Quantiferon which is pretty amazing and something no amount of advertising can buy. When one considers the value of the future market for latent TB, plus other IGRA test, I would have thought the brand alone should command more than what�s on offer.
