The Voluntary Administration turnaround of 'Deep Yellow Ltd' (and including other listed companys at http://www.pitcher.com.au/staff/86 provides the additional hope I need. A Five month process in the case of Deep Yellow.
23/06/2004 Shares suspended following the appointment of voluntary administrators, C Munday and B Hughes of Pitcher Partners - administration never augurs well for shareholders but it is too early to speculate on what the outcome may be.
30/11/2004 Shares reinstated to quotation.
I think shareholders can expect a 'recapitalisation' down the track.
Perhaps 'Acorn' might step up to the challange? Alternatively, once the current 'issues' are sorted the 'Merger/Takeover' figures might front up?
Looking back to the announcement at the beginning of June one can now see why management made the comments they did, however, it doesn't explain why they thought these related to an increase in the share price?
Let's hope we get some clarity of the 'issues' from the Administrator soon.
