The Uber business is in inherently limited: ask taxi drivers how many customers pay by cash (majority of "private" fares), an impossibility with Uber. Most business ppl pay with CC, but of the ones I know (usually the big end of town) none allow their staff to use uber - for obvious safety reasons. Additionally, PSs are not allowed to use Uber. So yes, Uber is a threat and (notwithstanding any legal action) will take a minority slice of the market. I suspect in the longer term, CAB will be unaffected, more so if they expand their other business initiatives.
