Dreamerof, VYR is correct.
The computer software that is algorithmic bots, knows only one way, and that's to follow the trend.
You can test it for yourself. Put in a buy order at the top of the queue and you'll either be matched or trumped instantaneously, by the bots.
I also agree with VYR with regard to the speed this will now move with the quarterly looming.
Have a look at the dearth of sellers.
Once we chew past 8c (which I'm hoping VYR and his merry band of computer followers will take care of tomorrow), there is a bugger all for sale. We'll be back to those half cent increments again after 10c, faster than you can say:
"Spring has sprung"
Gottabloomingshareprice...
"Today's prices will be the end of year joke"
