FM - agreed gas in particular has become the next big play in terms of world energy needs and requirements - just look at Gorgon (massive!) Shell has shelved some Oil plays recently which may support this shift. I'm also convinced that the fact Gas is a more cleaner energy as far as the pressures on world govts to slash CO2 emissions is concerned has seen the recent rise in such stocks i.e. LNG
