I can only assume the big guys will participate. If Mr Freeman put $50 or $100 million in around $1, he sure will be putting in 50 to 100k to double his holding. There is not much choice.
If the big guys do not cough up, the company is bankrupt - and they lose all their money.
I can almost envisage a situation where every year the company does a 1 cent raising until gold ends up back to 1700 or 1800. What else would you do? We are treading water in the middle of the Pacific.... just waiting. What else can you do?
