Unfortunately the big T is on the outside atm and has enough strings to ensure its shareholders don't lose value as a result of its rollout in Aus.
BUT its take up in Asia is growing at a ridiculous pace. Telstra will have to make a move somewhere along the line (to ensure its keeping with world market demands/software/hardware trends etc etc) or they may get left behind.
Get the Telco biggins involved and it could re-ignite a mini tech market boom since dollars will flood in from everywhere.
Until then I still think Seven has moved too early and is trying to force a market when its clearly not their market to take but thats my opinion only (but then again Stokes is one very smart individual with deep pockets imo). VoIPs to be looked at will be those with the customer base and the key partnerships imo.
Forget the commodities, financials for a while and get in on the upcoming VoIP/Wimax/3G/4G boom imo lol. If this happens just load up on all of them!!lol 6months tops for Aus given Asias current pace. Apple sitting on 30billion Cash (next i phone to support these features). People are looking for the next market mover. Writings on the wall. Pick a VoIP for a top end return imo.
Cheers, The Sparkler
