Paying out the dividends allowed for franking credits to be distributed, of little value to the company but useful for investors.
I don't know much about management's finances but I assume a large proportion of it would be tied up in the company.
The size of the placement is very surprising given the company already has 80m of cash and no debt, the scale of the expansion is quite astounding though.
I was expecting them to run down their cash reserve to expand in the downturn and given the rise of the ausd but this transforms servcorp into more of a growth stock but one which has an impressive return on equity. Not sure how it will pan out though
Liquidity should improve a bit after this I suppose with the increased free float.
