It is a con...surely you have figured out how Andrews works by now. The report is to confirm his political agenda...his lead scientist is a yes man or woman in this case.
The weasel word in the report is "conventional gas"... to quote from the report "Unconventional gas (fracking) is not included in the Victorian Gas
Program as it was banned in Victoria in 2017" confirms it ...they have lumped all unconventional gas production techniques under the one category of FRACKING which is clearly not true.
The surveyed area covers Gippsland and the Otway regions where LKO have already spent tens of millions and have already located potentially massive reserves of onshore gas. FFS....LKO could have drilled 2 conventional wells for around $2 million each when first requested in the Otway area to prove the resource but Andrews spends $40 million on an aerial survey!!! LKO have the Gippsland field ready to go into production so the new aerial survey data is just plain BS.
