You do realise that the current quarter will show the cash from the SDV North sale?
Sure the shorts will point out that we didnt ship 45,000T and will no dount try and create fear around that, but really...
The quarter will show production on target (confirmed already). In reality the timing of shipments really doesnt matter at all because we dont have cash flow problems but we do have contracts in place that commit to quantities.
We will also see improved recoveries (confirmed already).
We will also see higher quality Spod as it has already been confirmed that all mining is now from across Floater Road.
As I said, we have the customers AND the commitment to take the Spod. So the actually shipping schedule quarter to quarter is not of any real relevance. (Though again, it will no doubt be the focus of the downrampers, despite as you say, the fact that "it has already been priced in" ...because what else do they have to latch onto?)
Sure the lithium price has dropped as a temporary effect from all the cheap China Spot Price clearance sale, but clearly Anthony Tse believes we will see better prices in the next 6 months, that is why pricing this year will be renegotiated after 6 months instead of the normal 12 months. And if that's the case, stockpiling as much as they can now, for sale with new pricing later, could be the exact reason for less shipments of late. And that makes very good business sense if it is successfully pulled off.
But this quarter? Something to be concerned about? Hardly.
Remember EVERY quarterly has apparently been poor. But DYOR, cause in reality, the truth is far from what they want you to believe. I mean really... they point to overall profit without factoring in the money spend developing SDV during the quarter, then claim profit is low!
